And with an excellently trained team of certified flight instructors who will guide you through every stage of paragliding experience. From your first introductory day and your A and B licenses to advanced thermal and cross-country flying. All in a relaxed atmosphere, without stress and with learning success that takes flight.

Flugschule Pinzgau stands for decades of experience, thousands of happy and successful students, and a comprehensive range of paragliding courses in the Salzburg region. From introductory days to cross-country flying training, with all the theoretical and practical tools you need.
Since our founding in 1988 by Franz Voithofer and our takeover in March 2020, we have become one of the leading flight schools in the Salzburg region. We are proud of this, and it is our responsibility: to always give you the very best.
And that’s why you’ll also learn from the best here. Our flight instructors are experienced, certified professionals who will not only teach you paragliding with plenty of patience and fun, but also with the utmost care and a high sense of responsibility. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced pilot, we’ll pick you up exactly where you are in your flying career – and fly with you toward your personal goal. Safely, of course!

We offer not only group courses, but also Private Coaching. This means you’ll have a personal flight instructor exclusively for you (or, if you wish, for up to three additional participants) and will enjoy maximum attention to help you learn quickly.
But we’re also happy to see you go. Ideally with us on one of our paragliding trips – to Italy, Tenerife, or the Pinzgau Spaziergang.
And if you want to experience the fascination of paragliding for yourself before taking off, join us for one of our tandem flights. You’ll take off in excellent company, get a taste of the air above, and gain a completely new perspective on things. By the way, a tandem flight also makes a wonderful gift. Our Flying Areas: Absolute Highlights
If you want to experience the true joy of paragliding, come to us in the Pinzgau. Whether you’re a beginner, a leisure pilot, or an ambitious professional, there’s a flying area here for every training and performance level. For example, the Wildkogel with its dreamlike views over mountains and valleys. Or the legendary Pinzgau Spaziergang, an easily manageable flight route between Gerlos and Zell am See that is certainly good enough for a 100-kilometer cross-country flight. All this is complemented by easily accessible landing sites and expansive meadows in the wide valley.
In the Pinzgau, you can fly practically all year round. In summer, you can enjoy the warming sun and refreshing mountain air; in winter, the radiant beauty of the snow. A place where you can literally feel free as a bird.
