Cross-Country Licence (B Licence) – Theory Course 03.–04.04.2027

If you say A, you also want to do B: training for the paragliding B license.

Make sure you get away! Away from the home mountain – towards new goals.

No question: a relaxed glide at the home mountain also has its appeal. But at some point you want more: to see more, feel more, cover more kilometers. You want to get out of your comfort zone and "go cross-country".

In our theory course for the cross-country license, we give you all the knowledge you need on your way to new goals: from theory to flight planning and preparation for the theoretical exam. This makes you fit for all disciplines, whether free cross-country, triangle, target-return, or competition.

Date: Saturday, 03.04. and Sunday, 04.04.2027, probably 9:00 to 16:00 each day

Participation: on site at the Flugschule Pinzgau or online via Zoom, conveniently from home.

How to get your B license

• Theory: in this theory course
• Practical exercises: as part of our thermal technique training
• The required cross-country flight: during a thermal technique training, on one of our paragliding trips or as a flight task

Theoretical exam

• Pilots with a German license take the exam online via the DHV
• All others take the exam in writing on site
• The exam fee is not included in the course price: €45, for GFC Hohe Tauern club members €25

We fly in Pinzgau, an ideal cross-country flying area. Here, the famous "Pinzgauer Spaziergang" awaits you.
