On Your Way to a Paragliding License: Gain the Necessary Experience in the High-Altitude Course for Your Paragliding A-License Exam.

This Is Really Taking Off! Successfully Accumulate Airtime and Flights with the Required Altitude Difference.

You’ve left the practice slope behind and successfully completed the basic course, eager for more. What you need now is the ultimate thrill: high-altitude flights. And enough of them to tackle the exam for your paragliding license (A-License).

It’s best to do this in a flying area that makes gaining altitude easy: the Pinzgau region with the Hohe Tauern mountains. And with a flight school that takes you not only higher but also far ahead—the Flugschule Pinzgau.

We’ll get you technically and mentally ready for a successful paragliding A-license exam. And without any pressure: If you don’t manage to cover everything in the theory or practical training within the allotted time, you can make up what you missed free of charge at any subsequent training session. You have our word!

Dates and Course Information

In the High-Altitude Course (A2), you’ll gain your first high-altitude flights—step by step toward your paragliding license. Under supervision and with radio support, you’ll practice launching, flying, and landing until you can perform all the required maneuvers safely. If you wish, you can obtain either an Austrian or German license.
